Jolla don't care about unimportant apps like email or calender. They only try to get the aliendalvik running perfect. I really don't understand how you can leave your users with such clients.

Correct. Sailfish native apps are a competitive disadvantage for the user. It's not only Email, same could be said for massively outdated Browser. Unfortunate, but true.

If you want to hang on to Sailfish enthousiasts who also want to keep their jobs, you should really address this issue of not syncing any IMAP folder but Inbox. Bosses don't accept the excuse that...

@droll - Can you please create a separated feature request for that ? Is better for visibility and also not very related to this, since exchange is different from other accounts(time period based),...

Sailfish has shifted focus to corporate customers with many features focused on them (encryption, device management, VPN, etc.) so it would make sense to solve this issue. I'm hoping for a major e-mail...

For something like a month i use sailfish now on my Gemini PDA. This gives me the posibility to dual boot back into Android, if necessary. OTOH i have no Android app support in Sailfish. But i am not...

I quite like the approach the N9 had in this regard, having a list of "favourite" (subscribed) folders on the main page of the mail app, with a new mail count in the list next to the folders. These...

Is there any progress on that. I use filters on my mail otherwise I find my mailbox hard to use with all the email in one place. At the moment I have them switched off because otherwise I don't get...

I would also love to see a return of the N9 style favourite folders, but I'm afraid that it isn't happening because the client already looks quite a lot like the N9 one, and adding this might be a step...

I organize my email exactly like that -- using rules to move certain emails to different folders. Checking for those folders manually is extremely cumbersome. The N9 way would be perfect for me.

@sailor I need it exactly for this use case, I am prefiltering messages at the server side.

This would be great :). Many providers are doing sieve or other techniques to filter emails at server level. And i don't see new mails until I manually update the folders.
